Convenience, Experience, Excitement & Delight

Over the last few days we have posted a series of videos that intend to explain our four key customer principles at Axiom; convenience, experience, excitement and delight.

The videos give an insight into how we will deliver on these covering; digital innovation, catering and internal and external experiences.

AXIOM DIGITAL

We have been working with Admemori, one of the world leaders in digital screen architecture and production and we intend to deliver a unique digital experience at Axiom. We have visited their Les Quatre Temps installation in Paris and think it is the most innovative and emotionally engaging use of digital technology we have seen in any shopping experience. Watching shoppers standing agog, arms stretched out filming these amazing digital screen installations.

This is the definition of ‘instagrammable moment’.

AXIOM EATS

Customer tastes are changing and we have noted a quest for ever differing, memorable catering experiences. At Axiom we will have dedicated restaurant units with appealing brands for all ages covering a full spectrum of dining experiences.

We also plan to curate a unique and constantly changing street food scene, allowing independent operators to deliver a ‘cool’ street food offering and letting visitors experience the buzz of a festival. We are working with Adam Sullivan and his team at ‘The Bus Business’. A UK based, market leading vehicle conversion company. They will deliver some unique catering units which will all add to the Axiom experience including a fully fitted two level London Routemaster restaurant bus which will be available for hire at Axiom on a short term basis for independent chefs to try their hand at running a restaurant for the first time.

AXIOM ADVENTURE

Axiom’s 106-acre estate will include a 40-acre purpose built, contemporary country park with extensive man-made water features. This provides an opportunity to deliver a compelling leisure offer. This will further build on Junction 32’s reputation as Yorkshire and The North East’s family destination of choice, including Xscape which is Yorkshire’s most visited leisure destination (including one of only six snow domes in the UK).

The Axiom team have travelled all over the world looking at (and trying) new adventure leisure concepts, some of which we want to integrate into the Axiom estate and we will deliver a seasonal adventure programme which will deliver; discovery, experimentation, education and entertainment.

AXIOM PLAY

Play can be interpreted as a childish word. However, in today’s stressful world where we are constantly connected and families and friends communicate by text and social media, we will deliver an environment where families come together to play and share special moments. Our extensive public realm will deliver event spaces alongside purpose built water bodies, where we can host many different leisure and play activities including on water experiences.

Every evening our dancing fountains will delight visitors and our team of on site ‘hosts’ will be trained to ensure the Axiom experience is always fun and as stress-free as possible. Caruso Affiliates at ’The Grove’ in Los Angeles have delivered a unique retail and leisure experience that is more Disney than traditional shopping centre, and we share a similar vision for Axiom.
